For an exciting and large-scale private cloud project in Switzerland, we are currently seeking a Senior Monitoring Engineer with expertise in Zabbix to join our team. You will work in a dynamic, forward-looking environment with cutting-edge technologies and have the opportunity to make a significant impact within a highly complex system landscape.

Contract type: Project 10.2024 to 06.2025

Location: Bern

Work model: Hybrid (Home office by agreement)

Workload: 80-100%

Main Responsibilities

• Integration and engineering of monitoring systems in a highly complex environment.
• Collaborate with teams using the latest technologies, including Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Ansible.
• Work within an agile SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment to ensure the continuous improvement and adaptation of the monitoring system.

Requirements

Must-have Skills:

• Extensive experience with monitoring integrations and technologies, especially Zabbix.
• Proficiency in German (C1), as it is the project language.
• Strong solution-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently and efficiently.

Nice-to-have Skills:

• Experience with logging technologies (e.g., Elastic), Kubernetes, and OpenShift is a plus.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Good English skills (B2 level) are an advantage, though not mandatory.

Education & Certifications

• Relevant certifications and experience in Zabbix and other monitoring tools.
• Experience in working with large, enterprise-level systems and integration projects.

Languages

• German: C1 (Effective Operational Proficiency or Advanced)
• English: B2 (Vantage or Upper Intermediate)
