SAP - IT PROJECT MANAGER
Job Description
Mission
Lead and manage SAP projects through all phases-from analyzing business needs to solution design, project execution, and production release-either independently or by coordinating with external partners.
About the Company
Our client is a leading organization in the pharmaceutical sector, renowned for innovation and quality. They are looking for a skilled SAP Project Manager with 5 to 7 years of experience, preferably in SAP implementation. While prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus, it is not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Proactive Demand Management: Collaborate with business and industrial function managers to understand departmental needs related to SAP processes. Propose development solutions and co-design detailed project proposals, including specific requirements and business cases.
Partner Collaboration: Assist the IT Manager in identifying and managing suitable external partners for SAP development. Oversee their involvement across project phases: feasibility analysis, technical solution design, development, and production release.
Internal Stakeholder Engagement: Ensure close collaboration with internal customers throughout SAP project phases, from requirements gathering and current process mapping to defining new workflows. Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and training before go-live.
Key User Network Management: Foster and maintain a network of SAP Key Users within the organization. These advanced users will stay updated on SAP developments, suggest improvements, identify new needs, and provide first-level training and support for other SAP users.
SAP Support and Issue Resolution: Address and resolve SAP-related issues, including handling user requests and tickets. Analyze application problems and collaborate with the Group SAP Competence Center or external providers for resolution.
Professional Requirements
Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience managing SAP projects, particularly in modules such as MM, PP, and SD.
Education: A degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
Languages:
Fluent in Italian and English.
