Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to support their team due to increased workload and team expansion. Our client operates critical DNS and DHCP platforms essential for delivering customer services. As a Senior DNS and DHCP Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and optimization of these systems. You will work closely with various stakeholders and drive exciting projects forward.
Start: ASAP or by agreement
Contract type: 6 months
Location: Zurich
Work model: Hybrid (2-3 office days per week)

Responsibilities
- Developing and optimizing cache and authoritative DNS infrastructure
- Developing and optimizing DHCP infrastructure and maintaining public IP address allocation
- Developing and optimizing the Radius accounting and authentication platform
- Developing and optimizing the IP Address Management (IPAM) platform
- Developing and maintaining automation scripts and workflows
- Managing and supporting the lab server environment
- Reporting and automation for DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and Radius systems
Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience with large-scale DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and Radius installations in an ISP environment
- At least 5 years of experience in implementing and administering common TCP/IP-based services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, SSH
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Perl, PHP, SQL, and Ansible
- Expert knowledge of UNIX/Linux system administration
- At least CCNA level of networking knowledge
- Ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical team members
