🎯 The Opportunity

Our client, a long-established and respected player in the Swiss banking sector, is looking for a skilled and proactive Business Applications Engineer to join their Geneva-based tech team. You will be at the core of application development, supporting mission-critical banking operations including trade finance and wealth management.

🚀 Your Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance in-house business applications

• Translate business needs into functional and technical solutions

• Design, develop, and implement features in a DevOps-oriented environment

• Ensure application monitoring and performance in production

• Build automated tools to streamline operations

• Develop and maintain interfaces between internal banking systems

• Create BI reports to support strategic decision-making

• Document processes, flows, and technical specifications

🧠 Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science (HES/EPF or equivalent)

• 4+ years' experience in business application development

• Strong expertise in relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and PL/SQL

• Solid experience in Full Stack Development: Java, Spring Boot, Angular

• Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)

• Agile working experience (Scrum, Kanban)

• BI tools knowledge (SAP BO, QlikSense) is a plus

• Fluency in French and good command of English

• Background in banking and trade finance is a major advantage
