On behalf of our Client, we are looking for experienced:

Freelance Buyer (Strategic Procurement)

Location: remote

Type of employment: contract, freelance

Your responsibilities:

• Prepare tenders and create a schedule.
• Manage procurement needs and gather business requirements.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to prepare tender documents, specifications, and other materials.
• Conduct supplier and procurement market analyses.
• Create and send RFIs (Request for Information).
• Address and resolve supplier inquiries.
• Dispatch RFPs (Request for Proposal) and RFQs (Request for Quotation).
• Compare and evaluate offers, aligning P&L savings with the client's finance department.
• Identify negotiation strategies.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers.
• Draft new contracts in collaboration with the client's legal department and other stakeholders.
• Manage risks and ensure supplier compliance with contracts.
• Participate in projects aimed at digitalizing and optimizing procurement processes.

What do you bring:

• Fluency in German and English.
• Several years of experience in a similar role.
