Overview of contract

On behalf of our client, a large bank in Switzerland, we are looking for a PAM Engineer / IT Security Specialist.

Location: Zurich

Start date: Negotiable

Duration: 12 months - with extension/ internalization

Key Responsibilities:

Set up Proof of Concept (PoC) environments to test and evaluate shortlisted PAM products.
Create comprehensive documentation on Confluence
Prepare for the migration from the current PasswordSource system to the new PAM solution.
Develop automation scripts to streamline daily business tasks.
Deploy, configure, and secure Windows and Linux servers in both on-premise and cloud environments.
Implement secure middleware solutions (e.g., IIS, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Redis) with a focus on security, scalability, and performance tuning.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration
Deploy and manage secrets management solutions such as HashiCorp Vault, Azure Key Vault, and AWS Secrets Manager.
Develop automated failover and backup strategies using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Optimize server, middleware, and vault performance for efficiency and scalability.

Required Experience and Skills:

5+ years of experience in IT Security, infrastructure automation, and PAM tools.

Strong experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM)tools like BeyondTrust (Privileged Identity and PasswordSource) and HashiCorp
Proficiency in deploying and securing Windowsand Linux
Hands-on experience with middleware technologies like IIS, RabbitMQ, Kafka, and Redis.
