PLM Vault Specialist

On behalf of our client, a global consultancy specializing in the watch industry, we are seeking a highly skilled PLM Vault Specialist to join their team. Our client is a leading provider of consulting services and solutions for watch manufacturers, focusing on optimizing processes, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Location: Geneva
Position Type: Contracting (6 months possible extension)
Duration: 6 months, possible extension
Remote Work: Possibility of 2 days' remote work per week

Job Description: The PLM Vault Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems within the watch industry, with a focus on administering Autodesk Vault and related products. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably within the watch industry, and possess strong technical expertise in Autodesk products.
Key Responsibilities:


Administer and configure Autodesk Vault and related products to ensure smooth operation and adherence to industry standards.
Implement document control processes and version control procedures specific to the watch industry, maintaining data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Facilitate integration between PLM systems and other enterprise tools, including Autodesk Inventor, CAD software, and ProConcept.
Provide user training and support tailored to the unique needs of the watch industry, optimizing system utilization and productivity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement workflow optimizations.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to PLM systems and watch manufacturing processes.

Skills and Qualifications:


Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a relevant field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position, ideally within the watch industry.
Proficiency in administering Autodesk Vault and related products, with knowledge of Autodesk Inventor and Vault X-Tend.
Familiarity with the Hurni Inven-tools add-on is a plus.
Knowledge of ProConcept ERP software is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
