Overview of contract

On behalf of our client, a large bank in Switzerland, we are looking for a SAP BW/4HANA Developer.

Location: Zurich

Start date: Immediately

Duration: 12 months - with possibility of extension/ internalization

Key Responsibilities:

• IT developer for Financial Accounting, MIS, Treasury, Credits, Market and Wealth Planning areas
• Acting as IT developer with the mandate to implement the business requirements placed in the backlog.
• Analyse the business requirements, identify potential blind spots and discuss them with business stakeholder, build solutions, perform sanity checks to meet project goals and fix potential defects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams

Required Experience and Skills:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field with ideally IT banking experience in Market, Treasury, or Management Accounting.
• Modeling BW/4HANA objects (such as Advanced DataStore Objects (ADSO), transformations, etc.)
• Developing ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDPs) with table functions
• Creating SAP HANA calculation views (including SQL-based ones)
• Designing ABAP Core Data Services (CDS) views
• Proven track record of SAP BW and SAP HANA experience is a must for this role.
• Knowledge of Dataiku, Python, SQL, R, or other analytical programming languages and software
• Experience with the SAP transport management system
• Ability to manage the entire development lifecycle (including testing and documentation)
• Proficiency in ABAP Object-Oriented Programming (OO) to create and maintain small applications for automating object creation and testing
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and their application
• Experience with IT development using agile methodology (Jira/Confluence experience).
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English, German is a plus.
