Software Engineer / Electrical Engineer

Your Responsibilities:

  • After a comprehensive introduction and training on our client's robotics and equipment range, you will be responsible for developing control software for their automation systems and further enhancing existing software in the areas of PLC, robotics, and visualization.
  • Your responsibilities will also include the installation and commissioning of systems throughout Switzerland, and occasionally abroad.
  • You will have direct contact with customers and suppliers during negotiations and consultations.
  • Additionally, you will provide technical support and advice to the sales team.

Your Qualifications:

  • You have completed a technical foundational education with further training in software development, electrical engineering, or systems engineering.
  • Professional experience in the following areas is advantageous:
    • PLC programming tools: STEP7 / TIA Portal (Siemens), TwinCAT 3 (Beckhoff)
    • Object-oriented languages: Visual Studio C# .NET
    • Robotics programming tools: ABB RobotStudio, Fanuc Roboguide, KUKA Work Visual, etc.
    • Electrical installations and creating electrical schematics using electrical CAD software
  • Good proficiency in German, both written and spoken, is required. English and additional foreign languages are a plus.
  • Important qualities you possess include teamwork, self-responsibility, initiative, and resilience.
