Overview of contract

On behalf of our client, a large bank in Switzerland, we are looking for a Trading Infrastructure Integration Lead.

Location: Zürich

Start date: 01.12.2024

End date: 31.12.2025

Main responsibilities

• Your primary focus will be on the integration of the Fixed Income Market Making Platform (SaaS). You will play a key role in enabling this initiative through close, daily collaboration with traders. In the future, you may also be involved in the integration of additional trading services for the Markets division.
• For integration and interfaces: You may be required to draft concepts (solution blueprints, security concepts) and interface specifications, coordinate "handshakes" between internal and external stakeholders, and implement FIX connections-either through coordination or hands-on work.
• You will run test cases, resolve issues, and collaborate with external vendors to ensure any problems are addressed promptly.
• Responsible for coordinating service calls with vendors to review SLAs, address issues, and plan for upgrades or improvements. Regular reviews of BCM (Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery) plans may also be part of your role.
• You will be involved in the daily operations alongside the product owner and traders, answering technical questions and configuring the system from both technical and functional perspectives. As a member of an agile team, you will work closely with the Product Manager, Product Owner, Scrum Master, fellow team members, solution providers, and colleagues from our Central IT department (network engineers, security engineers, infrastructure specialists, host system administrators, etc.).

Your skills:

• 6 years experience in a similar position in trading/banking IT.
• Advanced knowhow in trading Fixed Income instruments
• Advanced knowhow of order management, trade processing, and the FIX protocol.
• IT Architecture, security and network skills.
• Elaboration of IT concepts, specification and documentation
• Partnering with SaaS solution firmsExcellent communication skills in English, German is a plus.
