Overview of contract
On behalf of our client, a large bank in Switzerland, we are looking for a Trading Systems Integration Engineer.

Location: Zürich
Start date: ASAP
End date: 30.06.2025 - with possibility of extension

Main responsibilities

• Accomplish preparation tasks to connect the SaaS solutions to our environment. Those tasks may be: Alignment with the InfoSec department, and elaboration of solution blueprint (with IT architects), security concepts, interface specifications, disaster recovery concepts and finally system documentation. You may be involved in penetration testing excercises.
• Integration and interfaces: Write concepts and interface specifications if needed, coordinate environment handshakes between internal and external partners, implement FIX connections (coordination and/or hands-on).
• Functional integration: Run testcases, fix issues and coordinate with the external vendor to have issues solved.
• Once the system is up and running, you may be coordinating service calls with the vendors to review SLAs, discuss issues and plan upgrades/improvements. Regular BCM (business continuity/disaster recovery) reviews may be concluded.
• Involvement into daily business with the product owner and the traders, answering technical questions and configuring the system (technical and functional)
• You will be embedded in an agile team and will collaborate with the Product Manager, Product Owner, Scrum Master and squad-buddies, the solution provider and our "Central IT" colleagues (network engineers, security engineers, infrastructure, host system, etc)

Your skills:

• 5 years experience in a similar position in trading/banking IT.
• Advanced knowhow in trading Fixed Income instruments
• Advanced knowhow of orders and trades and the FIX protocol.
• IT Architecture, security and network skills.
• Elaboration of IT concepts, specification and documentation
• Partnering with SaaS solution firms
• Fluent in English and German
