Overview of the position:

On behalf of our client, a large insurance company in Zürich, we are looking for a Senior IAM Expert.

Main responsibilities:

• Spearhead the strategic direction and continual enhancement of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) architecture to align with evolving business needs and industry best practices.
• Lead the documentation and presentation efforts for Identity and Access services and architecture, ensuring clear communication of complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels.
• Design, model, and implement robust processes, components, and systems within the IAM framework, leveraging advanced configurations and integrations with DirX IAM tool. This includes crafting workflows, role models, web frontends, single sign-on solutions, provisioning mechanisms, and Web Application Firewall (WAF) setups.
• Drive the evolution of IAM concepts and standards, including but not limited to Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Single Sign-On (SSO), Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC), System for Cross-domain Identity Management (SCIM), and Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML). Continuously refine these standards to ensure they meet the organization's security and compliance requirements.
• Champion automation initiatives within IAM processes to enhance operational efficiency and streamline IT governance tasks. Leverage automation tools and techniques to optimize workflows, reduce manual intervention, and strengthen overall security posture.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide subject matter expertise and guidance on IAM-related matters, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and threats in the IAM space, proactively researching and evaluating new solutions to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
• Mentor junior team members, providing guidance, coaching, and support to facilitate their professional growth and development within the IAM domain.

Your expertise:

• A University degree in computing or similar plus the CISSP certification or similar would be a plus
• Minimum 5 years and up to 10 years of professional experience in the field Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Excellent knowledge of Atos DIRX, MS365, Active Directory, Modern Authentication, SSO, MFA
• Knowledge of Sailpoint would hold a significant advantage
• Very good architectural understanding of modern cloud public infrastructures (Azure & M365)
• Good knowledge of the common IAM concepts RBAC, ABAC, PBAC
• Ability to carry out assignments independently and provide professional guidance to experienced professionals in the business
• Fluency in English, plus conversational German, any other European languages a plus
