Project: We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Analyst with a strong background in the Insurance market and expertise in Guidewire Insurance Suite to join a major IT transformation project within a leading insurance company. This role will focus on Claims Management within the broader scope of digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical and business acumen, be able to communicate fluently in English, and possess knowledge of German or French as a second language.

Your Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders in the insurance domain, including business and IT teams, to define requirements for Claims transformation initiatives.
• Conduct detailed business analysis, focusing on understanding business needs, identifying solutions, and documenting functional requirements and use cases.
• Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring smooth communication and understanding of requirements.
• Work with Guidewire Insurance Suite to ensure the implementation aligns with the business goals and requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders, ensuring alignment across business and technical teams.
• Provide guidance to developers and quality assurance teams to ensure the solutions delivered meet business requirements.
• Contribute to change management activities and assist in training and documentation for end-users.
• Support project management teams with risk identification, issue resolution, and status reporting.

Your Skills:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the Insurance industry, with a focus on Claims Management.
• Strong experience working with Guidewire Insurance Suite (GW ClaimCenter in particular) (Guidewire certifications are a plus).
• Solid understanding of the insurance claims process and IT transformation projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in German or French is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both business and technical teams.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with agile methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of additional technologies and platforms in the insurance domain.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the Swiss insurance market.
