About the Role
Our client, a global leader in its industry, is looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to join their security team in Geneva. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats, ensuring a secure and resilient IT environment. This is a hands-on position where you'll collaborate with IT teams, escalate incidents, and contribute to security investigations.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Monitor security alerts and incidents, identifying potential threats
✅ Perform initial triage and escalate critical incidents for further analysis
✅ Assist in incident response investigations and mitigation efforts
✅ Analyze security alerts to distinguish false positives from real threats
✅ Work with IT teams to enforce security policies and configurations
✅ Maintain detailed incident reports and generate security reports for management
Your Profile
✔ 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or incident management
✔ Knowledge of security architectures, threat detection, and incident response
✔ Experience with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, networking, and operating system security
✔ Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
✔ Security certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CEH are a plus
✔ Experience in commodities trading environments is an advantage
Nice-to-Have Skills
➕ Familiarity with forensics and malware analysis
➕ Hands-on experience with cloud security tools
➕ Knowledge of threat intelligence platforms
