Overview of contract
On behalf of our client, a large bank in Switzerland, we are looking for a DevOps/Platform Engineer.
Location: Zürich
Start date: ASAP
End date: 31.12.2024 - with possibility of extension
Main responsibilities
- Definition of the Java and .NET platform standards together with the development teams
- Engineering and maintaining of all platform components
- Driving modernization of the runtime platform, ensure continuous improvement
- Implement services and APIs to integrate the platforms with the continuous delivery pipelines of the application DevOps teams
- Implement processes to run the application platforms fully-automated
- Support the leadership driving the platform towards the committed objectives
Your skills:
- Proven experience of working with .NET and/or Java platforms, ideally as a ITSO/deputy
- Experience working as a DevOps/Platform engineer
- Knowledge and experience regarding DevOps processes and automation with tools like Octopus, Jenkins, Ansible
- Enjoy working with a goal-oriented and structured approach
- High quality awareness
- Fluent English
