HW/SW Integration Engineer

For our client a leading Medical Device company located in Zug we are looking for a HW/SW ntegration Engineer.
Background:
For existing products and new projects we are searching for a motivated personality to support in the PCR HW Integration Team. In a flexible working environment together with a team of experts you will be the person who interacts on the interface between Hardware-, Software-, System-Development and Operations. You will integrate different Hard- and Software-modules to a whole, ensure and increase reliability and quality of ourdesign by testing, analyze the data generated from systems and support with root-cause-investigations to give specific information to address identified issues.

The perfect candidate:
We are looking for a Junior to Professional candidate who has experience in software development, hardwaredevelopment or within mechanical engineering. The candidate should have an understanding of and for different departments such as software/hardware, mechanical and electrical engineering and should be able to put all together in one product.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Integration and test of hard- and software modules
• Plan and Creation of test setups (e.g. test scripts, electromechanical tests, etc.)
• Analysis of generated data, logs and results to gain insights
• Troubleshooting within R&D and supporting production
• Documentation of performed activities and gained knowledge

Must Haves:

• Bachelor or Master Degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering or relateddisciplines
• Min. 1 - 5 years experience in development of mechanical, electrical and/or software systems or similar
• Technical knowledge of software and mechatronics
• Good understanding of technical quality and testing of products
• Teamplayer with good communication skills and a proactive working style
• Persistence and precise working methods
• Willingness to learn new things
• Fluency in English (written and spoken), German is an asset
