Overview of contract

On behalf of our client, a large bank in Switzerland, we are looking for a Java Developer & IT Service Responsible

Location: Zürich

Start date: 03.02.2025

End date: 31.12.2025

Main responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain systems using the Java technology stack.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Git/GitLab, Octopus, Helm Charts, and Docker.
• Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes and Linux/RHEL 8 environments.
• Integrate and maintain REST web service technologies.
• Develop and debug applications using Eclipse IDE.
• Manage version control systems using Git and GitLab.
• Work with Oracle DB and SQL for database management.
• Collaborate on Business Rule Management, including modeling, management, and implementation (Actico Platform experience is a plus).

Your skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in system engineering, development, and DevOps practices.
• Good understanding of integrating REST web services.
• Experience with the Actico Platform.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Kubernetes, DevOps).
• Certifications or training in Visual Rules / Actico Rules.
• Reliable and a strong communicator with a collaborative teamwork mindset.
• Commitment and passion for ownership with a proactive attitude.
• Analytical skills to tackle complex problems and define clear solution paths, focusing on end-to-end solutions that address client needs.
• Excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus.
