Overview of contract

On behalf of our client, a large bank in Switzerland, we are looking for a Project Manager.

Location: Zürich

Start date: 16.09.2024

End date: 31.12.2024

Main responsibilities

• Review of current AML Transaction Monitoring System vs latest industry standards
• Streamline processes in line with group internal/legal/regulatory requirements and focus on scope of monitoring landscape and alert capturing
• Introduce Sampling Methods
• Establish state-of-the-art reporting framework to Management and BoD
• Review of P&Ps
• Implement control measures and governance framework
• Implement audit measures
• Training
• Prepare TM Concept for FINMA/Supervisory Authority approval
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and deliverables
• Ensure project is completed on time and within scope
• Facilitate discussions with senior internal stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment and integration of project goals
  
  

Your skills:

• Swiss Law Degree preferred, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Compliance, preferably related to Trust Business
• Firm knowledge of current regulation in Switzerland and beyond (BVI)
• Proven experience in the regulatory field, licence related matters, risk management and developing governance frameworks
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and senior stakeholders simultaneously
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and address issues
• Ability to drive the work packages independently
• Strong understanding of the wealth planning offering in private banking and related regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication skills in English, German is a plus.
