Overview of contract

On behalf of our client, a large bank in Switzerland, we are looking for a Test Automation Engineer.

Location: Luxembourg/ Zürich

Start date: ASAP

End date: 31.12.2025 - with possibility of extension

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using latest scripting techniques, report quality issues & defects and manage repository of automated regression tests
Initiating Test Automation activities considering already set up group structures
Analyze, test and evaluate user requirements, specifications and models with regard to testability
Set up the test environment & automate test set's
Configure, update, maintain and deploy the test tools
Carry out and document tests in accordance with the specified test cases or in an exploratory manner
Preparation and execution of training sessions
Propose and perform PoC's to continually expand the test framework

Required Experience and Skills:

At least 5 years' experience in TDD and automated testing
Using Selenium, Cucumber and Gherkin o Sound knowledge of Xray and Jira and their integration into an automated testing framework
Experience of selenium grid would be considered an asset
Deep understanding of CI/CD pipeline and its automation technologies like Jenkins, GitHub, etc.
Strong java development skills
Experience in manual testing
Experience in the baking domain is essential
