As part of increasing the activity of one of our clients, we are looking for an Application Engineer with an experience in a safety critical domain (m/f)
- Main mission:
- Develop and maintain application documentation, including system and software requirements, along with related test cases.
- Review and validate the application against specifications, ensuring test traceability.
- Create and execute test plans, preparing detailed test reports.
- Log and describe issues/bugs in JIRA, providing thorough analysis.
- Update and synchronize results in the Test Results Management tool.
- Conduct formal system tests such as Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
- Analyze defects/incidents to identify root causes.
- Provide 3rd-level maintenance support in collaboration with the maintenance, engineering teams, and customers.
- Participate in development activities as needed.

- You possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to understand end-user needs and translate them into software requirements for the Development Team or into detailed test cases.
- Highly organized, you excel at prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and managing time efficiently.
- You are meticulous, enjoy challenges, and thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Experience working in agile or scaled agile environments is highly preferred.
- Mandatory technical skills:
- Familiarity with ED153/ED109 or ED12B/C standards is a significant advantage.
- Experience with tools like IBM Rational DOORS or Siemens Polarion is highly valued.
- ATSEP certification is an added benefit.
- Experience
- Ideally, you bring 5 years of experience in the air traffic control domain or other fields involving real-time and security-critical systems.
- Test automation experience is a plus.
- Language requirements:
- Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory,
- French level: B1
- German is a plus.
