Overview of contract

On behalf of our client, a private bank in Switzerland, we are looking for a Business Analyst.

Location: Geneva

Start date: Immediately

Duration: 12 months - with possibility of extension/ internalization

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or Solution Architect to deliver complex initiatives and IT transformations in the financial services domain.
Provide strategic advice to clients on platform capabilities, enhancements, and optimization opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
Manage and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder needs.
Utilize a structured and analytical approach to synthesize complex topics and present them effectively to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
Oversee the software development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of solutions.
Leverage banking platform technologies and tools to drive innovation and efficiency.
Use project management software and tools (e.g., MS Office, Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow) to plan, track, and report on project progress.

Required Experience and Skills:

University degree in Business Economics, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent academic/work achievements.
5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner/Manager, Solution Architect, or Consultant in the financial services sector (wealth management experience is preferred).
Proven track record of delivering complex initiatives or IT transformations across multiple functional banking domains.
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and banking platform technologies.
Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Office, Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information for diverse audiences.
Fluent in French and English (both written and spoken).
Domicile in Switzerland or willingness to relocate.
