DevOps Engineer

Our client is a prominent Swiss energy company with a robust growth strategy. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to drive innovation and help shape the future of energy.

What You'll Do

• CI/CD Excellence: Develop, implement, and refine CI/CD pipelines on Azure and GitLab to streamline the deployment process.
• Infrastructure Support: Enhance and maintain containerized environments and cloud infrastructure.
• System Assurance: Ensure stability, performance, and security by implementing effective monitoring, alerting strategies, and best security practices.
• Incident Management: Proactively manage incidents and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
• Documentation: Create and update documentation on architectures, processes, and best practices.
• Automated Testing: Implement and maintain automated tests to ensure code quality and system reliability.
• Backend Development: Contribute to backend solutions using TypeScript, NestJS, Jest, and PostgreSQL.

What You Bring

• A degree in computer science or a related field (University or Applied Sciences).
• At least two years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role.
• Strong expertise in container technologies (Kubernetes), cloud environments (Azure), databases (PostgreSQL), and backend frameworks (TypeScript, NestJS, Jest).
• Proven experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
• Additional proficiency in TypeScript and familiarity with testing frameworks is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
• A high level of personal responsibility, independent work ethic, and resilience.
