Scrum Master / Agile Project Manager - Financial Services

On behalf of our client, a large bank in Switzerland, we are looking for a Scrum Master.

Location: Luxembourg

Start date: ASAP

End date: open

Key Responsibilities:

  • Agile Leadership & Coaching: Serve as a servant leader, guiding Agile teams through their transformation journey while fostering a culture of empowerment, transparency, and collaboration.
  • Team Development: Support Agile teams in evolving into high-performing, self-organizing units, driving continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Facilitation & Support: Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, ensuring effective product and backlog management.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to align goals, priorities, and requirements.
  • Impediment Resolution: Identify and proactively remove obstacles, ensuring smooth team workflows and resolving conflicts when needed.
  • Agile Best Practices: Promote Agile best practices, quality standards, and performance optimization through data-driven decision-making.
  • Change Management: Act as a change agent, driving Agile adoption across teams and leadership.
  • Project Management: Adhere to project delivery frameworks, ensuring efficient resource allocation, dependency management, and cross-team coordination.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
  • University degree in IT, Finance, or a relevant field.
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager in technology and/or financial services.
  • Experience with Temenos Core Banking software (T24/TAP) is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Miro, and other Agile collaboration tools.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; German or French is an advantage.
