Sr Adobe Data Platform Engineer

On behalf of our client, a global consultancy, we are seeking a highly skilled Sr Adobe Data Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and related Adobe products. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data platforms to support our client's digital marketing initiatives.

Duration: 6 months with possible extension

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement detailed blueprints for Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) encompassing various data platform components.
• Ensure cohesive integration between systems and data models by collaborating with Integration Architects and Data Architects
• Lead a technical proof of concept (POC) with a team of engineers to adopt the newest Adobe products including AEP, Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO).
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members.
• Configure sandbox environments according to functional and technical requirements to accurately simulate production scenarios.
• Evaluate non-functional requirements focusing on performance, stability, and usability.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization to meet these requirements.
• Develop and implement technical solution approaches, including customizations for features not covered by standard functionality.

Required Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and related products such as CJA and AJO.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, and SQL.
• Extensive experience in data ingestion, transformation, and governance.
• Proven ability to design and implement ETL processes.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Strong skills in performance tuning, system stability, and usability testing.

Education and certifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Adobe Certified Expert in Adobe Experience Platform (preferred).
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Certified Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Data Engineer (preferred).
