Overview of contract
On behalf of our client, a large bank in Switzerland, we are looking for a Senior Test Engineer.
Location: Luxembourg
Start date: ASAP
End date: 31.12.2025 - with possibility of extension
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and oversee project test plans to ensure efficiency and quality.
- Optimize and implement defined processes to support organizational needs.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to improve process reliability and quality.
- Act as the single point of contact for all testing and quality-related matters.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Plan and allocate resources efficiently in coordination with the Test Team Head.
- Support business users during the UAT phase and manage defect triage meetings.
- Ensure seamless integration between SIT and UAT test phases.
- Utilize tools such as Xray and Jira to manage testing processes.
- Manage project roadmaps, release schedules, and resource planning.
- Define and assign test roles while verifying test objectives with stakeholders
Required Experience and Skills:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Test Management.
- Proven experience in the banking domain.
- Experience with T24 or Triple A (highly advantageous).
- Expertise in classical and agile testing approaches, with the ability to blend both effectively.
- Strong ability to conduct defect triage meetings and bridge SIT and UAT test phases.
- In-depth understanding of test processes, quality management, and assurance.
- Hands-on experience with Xray and Jira.
- Experience in project management, change, and release management.
- Strong capabilities in managing a delivery roadmap and resource planning.
