IT Business Specialist (ENG/GER)

For one of our clients, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced IT Business Specialist (m/f/d), fluent in English with a good knowledge of German (B2), to support their team in implementing strategic IT projects, managing and maintaining their production and business software, and ensuring the availability of their IT systems.

Your Responsibilities:

You will strengthen their team to help meet the increasing demands and accelerate the implementation of strategic IT projects. Your primary focus will be on expanding or optimizing their software landscape, introducing new software, and adapting software architectures to current requirements. In this role, you will work closely with an interdisciplinary, geographically distributed team. Through this work, you will build expertise and company-specific knowledge, with the potential to take on more responsibility in the future.

The IT team's clients are internal, and your strategically important projects will impact every part of the company's workflow. You will quickly build a network and gain a strong understanding of processes, enabling you to assess requirements and propose creative solutions in a broader context. You will also collaborate frequently with internal and external service providers to ensure timely and complete project delivery.

In addition to these tasks, you will help keep existing systems running. You will gain experience with Level 1 support and solve more complex issues in Level 2 support.

Your Profile:

You see yourself as a doer and a business enabler.

Thanks to your studies in computer science or business informatics, or equivalent vocational training and relevant work experience, you have acquired fundamental knowledge of ERP, MES, and business IT systems, as well as how they interact.

You are eager to expand this knowledge in practice and ready to undertake an intensive onboarding process.

You are motivated to take on more responsibility in the medium term, whether as a subject matter expert, project manager, or team leader.

You are open to innovation and enjoy working in and with different teams.

You speak fluent English. Knowledge of German and French is an advantage.
