Expert IT Operator for Access Management

Overview of contract

On behalf of our client, a large bank in Switzerland, we are looking for an Expert IT Operator for Access Management.

Location: Zurich

Start date: Immediately

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent professional experience
    (Minimum of 5 years as a System Administrator with a focus on Microsoft Active Directory; MCSA certification is a plus)

  • 5-10 years of experience in IT Access Management within the financial industry

  • Strong expertise in PowerShell scripting for process automation and reporting

  • Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions is a significant advantage

  • Solid understanding of IT security principles and regulatory standards within the financial sector

  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously

  • Ability to work independently with high reliability, resilience, and a strong commitment to continuous learning and performance

  • Excellent customer-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English

  • In-depth understanding of the financial services industry

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain user access rights across systems, applications, and platforms, ensuring alignment with internal policies and compliance standards

  • Administer and support Microsoft Active Directory and related services, including account provisioning, de-provisioning, and permissions management

  • Develop, maintain, and improve PowerShell scripts to automate repetitive tasks and generate detailed access reports

  • Support the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions

  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards related to access control

  • Monitor and respond to access-related incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions where necessary

  • Collaborate closely with IT Security, HR, and other business units to manage access lifecycle processes and role-based access controls

  • Participate in access reviews, audits, and certifications, providing documentation and evidence as required

  • Contribute to internal process improvements and best practices for access governance and identity lifecycle management

  • Provide expert-level support to internal users and stakeholders, acting as a subject matter expert in access management-related topics
