Overview of contract

On behalf of our client, a large bank in Switzerland, we are looking for an Professional Services Security Engineer.

Location: Zurich

Start date: Immediately

Join a project to design, engineer, implement, and support the integration of a new Privileged Access Management (PAM) and Vault (secrets management) solution within the bank's IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Design and create necessary project and operational documentation

• Develop automation scripts using APIs of various infrastructure systems (e.g., IAM, uCMDB) with tools like Ansible or similar languages

• Collaborate with service stakeholders to analyze feature requirements

• Implement and maintain new features and system improvements

• Troubleshoot incidents, resolve errors, and support user issues

• Maintain technical documentation, primarily using Confluence

• Ensure adherence to best practices in security and operations

• Participate in on-call support as required

Required Experience and Skills:

• Expertise in one or more PAM/Vault products (e.g., Delinea, HashiCorp Vault)

• Knowledge in IT Security Engineering topics such as Secure Browsing (Zscaler), PAM, PKI, or Multi-Factor Authentication (advantageous)

• Experience contributing to IT architecture, process design, and conceptual development

• Strong problem-solving skills, proactive mindset, and ability to think abstractly

• Able to independently assess, prioritize, and resolve outstanding tasks and requests

• 2nd and 3rd level engineering and/or operational experience in IT Security services

• Familiarity with complex, highly regulated IT environments

• Windows and Linux system administration skills

• Proficiency with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Ansible, Python, Bash/Shell, Terraform, Git, REST, regular expressions)

Education and Certifications:

• University degree or equivalent technical education

• Certifications in IT Security products are a plus
