Safety, Quality and Security Manager in Aero sector

As part of increasing the activity of one of our clients, we are looking for a Safety, Quality and Security Manager with an experience in air traffic control: radar visualization, flight plan management systems and decision-support tools for air traffic controllers.

  1. Main mission:
  • Managing our Integrated Management System (IMS) in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27.001:2022 standards.
  • Take ownership of the implementation of EASA regulatory standards for the DPO certification.
  • Lead continuous improvement measures in order to increase efficiency.
  • Advocate a horizontal Quality and Safety culture among the processes through an ongoing coaching, training and promotion of internal quality processes and safety culture.
  • Manage Quality Assurance to ensure that quality standards are achieved.
  • Perform Internal audits ISO 9001 and ISO 27001.
  • Participate in consulting missions as expert on software assurance and safety in the field of air traffic management.
  • Lead a team of 3 quality engineers, organize the workload and take responsibility for delivery dates and follow up the implementation of the company strategic objectives regarding quality, software assurance, safety and security.

  • You have strong analytical skills, allowing you to understand user needs and translate them into clear requirements for the development team.

  • You are organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage your time effectively.
  • You demonstrate resilience under pressure and are flexible in your approach.

  1. Mandatory technical skills:
  • Engineering degree.
  • Knowledge of Integrated Management systems.
  • Experience of ISO 9001 and ISO 27001, EN9100 is an added value.
  • Past exposure to EASA certification in Aerospace Industries.
  • You have a high analytical capacity, and you are adaptable, autonomous, rigorous and service oriented.
  • You have acquired a significant experience in managing projects within you domain of expertise
  • Experience in the Aerospace Industry or Air Traffic Control domain is mandatory.
  • Experience with standards such as ED-153, ED-109, or DO-178 and DO 254 is mandatory.
  • You have a high resistance to stress and you are flexible.
  • Practical experience with of Agile development methodologies.
  • Fluent written and spoken English is required. French is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel in Switzerland and internationally.

  1. Prior experience:
  • You have at least 8 years of experience in Air Traffic Management or other safety-critical domains.
  • Experience as manager in Safety, quality and security management of the quality department
  • Experience of software development processes in safety-critical environment.
  • Knowledge of EASA certification in Aerospace Industries.

  1. Language requirements:
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory,
  • French level: B1
  • German is a plus.
